George W Bush
jesswzmn asked:

I ask this question because I think its pretty much universally accepted that George W. Bush failed as a president. So its important to me that we change directions form Bush policies.

I want to consider McCain, but I need to know on the top 5 majort issues or so, how he will be different from President Bush.

Well, just like Bush, he wants to continue the war in Iraq, as well as to continue to ignore Bin Laden and Afghanistan.
He wants to allow Bush’s tax cuts to continue, and make them permanent.
He voted to extend the $850 billion buy-out to Wall Street put forth by the Bush administration.
Just like Bush, he refuses to acknowledge the need for Universal Health Care and will refuse to implement anything of the sort.
Just like Bush, he will stack the Supreme Court with right-wing, conservative ideologues.

So as you can see…he’s totally different than Bush!
